Fast, great coffee time after time. I bought this coffee maker as a bridal shower gift ( I have one also) and the bride called me to say that it was the best gift and she couldn't wait to use it. The husband said it was all he wanted and it didn't disappoint him.
My $10 machine made a better tasting stronger coffee. This machine is VERY difficult to use. I sure did. Dont waste your money. Decanter pours all over except where coffee or water is supposed to go, design of pot is terrible. I read the instructions, did what was instructed to do.
They are too short. Leading to overfilling and overflowing and a mess or under filling and having to add more water after the drip has stopped.Thirdly paper filters that are commonly available do not fit. Hence no way of know how much water to put in the top.
I am really unhappy with this coffee maker. People have been making pots since pre-history. This is my first 1-star review.
Secondly, there is no way of knowing how much water is in the reservoir. There is no permanent filter available that I know of.Lastly, mine leaks and I have only been using it a month. The pot itself is so poorly designed that it impossible to pour from it without spilling.
Inexcusable.
The only improvement I would like to see is a separate water pouring container, you hear that Bunn. All-in-all this unit has worked great for me so far. I love my 3 minute coffee. I have purchased three Bunn personal home use units before and all have leaked. This unit appears to be different in design (for the better) and I do not think the past issue will pertain to this unit. Bunn has also improved on the water entry placement (in the front).
It's gone now. A timer to automate the process would have been nice but even then, the coffee wasn't strong enough for our personal taste. If you like relatively weak coffee then this is the coffee maker for you. It wasn't our "cup of tea": took a lot of grounds to make mild coffee (dunkin donuts or tim hortons).
